Our Services

Our Services and Testing Include:

Cardiovascular consultation

A comprehensive, non-invasive diagnostic cardiovascular service for our patients, including ongoing evaluation and management of any possible cardiovascular issues. Prevention, we believe, offers the best outcome.

Electrocardiogram

Placement of electrodes on the skin, produces a recording – a graph of voltage versus time – showing the electrical activity of the heart.

Surgical clearance

We prepare, ahead of time, all of the documentation a hospital surgery patient requires, to remove some of the stress of the patient and/or family members.

Echocardiogram

An echocardiogram uses electrodes to check your heart’s rhythm, and is used to help diagnose any heart issues.

Stress Echo

AKA stress echocardiography, or echocardiography stress test, the stress echo helps measure how well your heart and blood vessels are working. For this test, the patient will exercise on a treadmill or stationary bike, while the doctor monitors blood pressure and heart rhythm.

Nuclear Stress Test

This is an imaging method that uses an injected radioactive material to show how a patient’s blood flows into the heart muscle at rest and during activity.

Exercise stress test

This test examines how well your heart responds when it's working its hardest. The patient will be hooked up to an electrocardiogram (EKG) monitor and then asked to exercise.

24-hour Holter monitor

A wearable monitor as you go about your regular daily routine, it records your heart's rate and rhythm. The Holter device does have a small number of electrodes and electrical leads.

Cardiac event monitor

A portable device worn by the patient to record the heart's electrical activity. It records the same data as an electrocardiogram (EKG), but for longer durations of time.

Complete vascular diagnostic studies

A series of non-invasive heart tests. These tests include:

Angiogram

X-Ray imaging performed after injection of an iodine dye.

Ankle-Brachial Index

Use of inflatable cuffs measure circulation and blood pressure in arteries on the thigh, calf, food and toes.

Carotid Duplex

Measures blood flow rate through the carotid arteries and to see if there are any blockages.

Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) and Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) Tests

Computer imaging studies used to provide detailed information about a patient’s blood vessels and its relationship with the organs.

Duplex Ultrasound

Examination of blood flow through arteries and veins.

Pacemaker/ ICD/ Loop recorder clinics

Full support services for patients with pacemakers, ICD (implanted cardiac defibrillators) and implanted Loop recorders. We assess battery longevity, lead wire function, data collection information, and heart rhythm recordings where applicable.
